This is becoming a real Hokey Cokey cruise!
In order to maintain the tradition and support those who have already committed, Scurvy Crew and I still plan on doing the Third Nacho Run on Sunday.
However, Mrs A and I also now propose the Inaugural Alternative Nacho Run on 3 January (same timings and venue) for those that can make Monday.
This gives FoxyMo and Whisper (who have already blagged seats on Grimalkin for Sunday) and anyone else that wants one an alternative to suit as is most convenient for them (Neil, you're more thanwelcome, although Poole probably isn't that helpful). Let me know either on here or by PM.

I've been studying the tides this morning and have decided that I can't make Sunday's and Monday's cruise due to not getting back on my slip in time and leaving me high and dry.
Have a nice time guys and post plenty on pictures.
Happy New Year

Mrs 250 and I are still up for this and at the moment can do either of the two days (but not both). We will probably leave it a couple of more days to see what the forcast is.

Weather at the moment for Monday is looking crisp but fine - Blue Ray had a brief run to Cowes on Boxing Day Monday after it's service and all is looking good for joining the First Alternative Nacho Run on Monday!
Currently it looks like we'll have the full family Crew in attendance.

Indeed: both days !
Scurvy Crew, whisper and I are going on Sunday, and Mrs A and I are going over on Monday (and then failing to get back into the marina until dark). Monday looks like being more popular (Pete M and Trevor G having confirmed for then) but anyone and everyone welcome either time.
Sea-trialled Grimalkin yesterday following a five week repair in Yeovil and is now functioning (despite the depth readings still being intermittent) so all looking good.
Happy New Year to you all and hope to see you over the next couple of days
David

Looks like Mrs 250 & I will be going over on the Monday, will look out for others on the way out of Southampton.
David, with the tides, what time do you expect to be at Lymington?
Happy New Year to you all
Steve

Why are you going to Lymington when everyone else is going to Yarmouth ! I am aiming to be in Yarmouth around 12.30 on both days. Monday's Yarmouth tides are: HW 09.35 and LW 15.36.
Tomorrow's confirmed boats look like being just Grimalkin (with Scurvy Crew Whisper and me out of Poole) and Jianna (with Ian M and Hightower out of Lymington). That's enough for a party but any others more than welcome!
Monday looks busier with Grimalkin (with Mrs A and me), Nestor (with Pete M) both out of Poole, Sea Safari (with 250kts and Mrs), Blue Ray (with Trevor G and family) both out of Southampton/Hamble with Chris, Starovitch and Zippy as possibles on one or other day.
Look forward to seeing you all.
David

Third Nacho Run run successfully completed after having had to return home from the marina to collect forgotten kit (including camera) and after the boat engine then cut out three times in quick succession approaching the chain ferry to exit Poole Harbour. Engine then restarted and we managed to get to a pontoon in Parkstone Yacht Club to check fuel filter and priming bulb. Could find nothing wrong and decided to try again. No further problems so I've no idea what that was about.
Nice to see Whisper, Hightower and Ian M again and the nachos were as good as ever (thanks again, Whisper!).
Unfortunately, I can't upload the pictures that I took but hopefully Whisper will be able to load his (including the video he was filming when Scurvy Crew nearly put us in the water by opening up the throttle without warning)
The Wheatsheaf was busy today so for those coming tomorrow, I have booked a table for a dozen people (or thereabouts) for 12.30 under the name Phillips/Ribnet. Anybody there before us, please quote the reservation and save Mrs A and me a couple of seats!
Looking forward to tomorrow.
David

All - will be leaving the Marina at approx 11am for a gentle run to Yarmouth. Seats free if anyone wants a trip out .... (trying not to pop a tube this time ..)
Steve - I saw there was a letter for you/company at Poole - I'll see if they let me take it so I can pass it on to you.
Pete

I've reduced the size of the pictures and can now upload them. For what thy're worth then, here's a couple of which the first is (left to right) Whisper, Ian M, Scurvy Crew and Hightower and the second is Jianna with Ian M and Hightower:
