If weather OK then tomorrow 2 ribs from LA are planning to venture into the Solent so be on the lookout say about 11:00 for Seahawk 2 and Seashells (yellow tubes / black hull )
we plan to lunch in Yarmouth
(if weather like today then we will not bother)

At the end decided to stay in home waters.
What was the weather like in the Solent cos we had a rather strong and cold wind

I went out today, was very rough! Went to cowes in the end, was a nightmare to moor up! The harbour master there kindly helped.
Wind was horendous on way back so ended up doing about 6-10 knots all the way home took ages, a bit differnt from my normal 30-35 knots
Doubt i'll be out tomorrow - but if I do, is there a radio channel you guys use to communicate?

sounds pretty nasty today!
I was down at West Wittering today playing with kites and it was blowing a hooley! struggled to keep my feet on the ground most of the time but made for some interesting jumps!
Do remember thinking "im glad im not out there today"
I hear tomorrow looks better tho. wind easing off and a little warmer. unfortunatly i dont have the energy at the moment to tow the boat down so Zippy will remain in the driveway.

We were out yesterday and the Solent had a horrid chop on. Very short and sharp.
Went from Lymington to the Needles, to Yarmouth, to Portsmouth, to Cowes, to Lymington then back to Yarmouth and finally back to Lymington. About a sixty mile trip by my reckoning!
We saw a floating city which Americans I think call USS Harry Truman and I think I need to go to the Physiotherpist today cause my back is killing!
Probably the doctor too cause CND spent all day screaming like a girl in my ear as we went over waves!!!
Hope people have a good day today and get som photos!
Chris

Last min. changes meant that I couldn't have my trip out today . Just as well as I wouldn't want to see a Ribcraft shown up by an aged BWM .
Was a nice afternoon for it.
