hi , i am trying to plan a cruise around the IOW this sunday , a bit short notice , but would like a couple of ribs to join us as it would be out first time.Should be leaving around 9 or 10am ,does anyone know any nice places to stop for food half way?

There's a cracking little harbour there and the harbour master (name escapes me) is very friendly and accomodating.
His phone number and VHF channel are in the almanac.
There is a tidal 'window' for entry-exit.
There is a pub within 50 yards of the harbour which serves food, another one at the far end of the prom (also serves food).
You could also try anchoring in Whitecliffe bay and swimming/wading ashore. There are a couple of chip butty and nug of tea type of kiosks on the beach there. Another cracking spot on the right day.

Pop it to Priory Bay and say hello if you see my Grubby Yellow Ocean anchored up as you go past.
I'm taking the kids over for a picnic and games on the beach.
a briliant experiance , and definetly, (due to winds and waves) a good test for our rib !!!
