(sorry if it's been discussed before, did a quick search but couldn't find one as good)

That reminds me of the F W Declerk joke. I was at Trewhiddle today looking at a static. Chris from Seaview has bought it.

Talking about weather sites etc does anyone use this . It for surf reports but the wave bouys data is impressive and great for estimating the sea state around the coast . I find I can make reaonable predictions as to how lumpy its going to be .
http://www.a1surf.com/wavebuoy.html
As for the weekend , anyone got any decent ideas of the weather yet , friday looks pretty wet .
Roy thanks for that insurance link they were the cheapest £117 for my little boat which I thought was enough , others were up to £220 . I ensure a 1000cc sport bike for that

Thats about the going rate insurance wise, think I paid around £155 for a 4m and 40HP of a similar value to your SIB.

'Spose I ought to start thinking about putting the boat back together again. She's prop-less, fuel line is in bits as is the fuse box and there's a big whole where the Garmin should be.

Bob and I would usually launch from Par, sadly you have to join the SABBC to launch ( trust me don't ask ) If your coming up I'd happily launch from Fowey instead s'only a few more miles around to Pentewan.

Can I become an associate member of your membership for £1 ?
"All persons using these facilities must be a member of SABBC and hold either a Launching or Associate Member Pass. "
"Associate Members must be accompanied by a Launching Pass holder, who is responsible for the safety and conduct of their guests at all times. Associate Members do not have individual access to the Port."
Mind you not sure if that means I can launch, you could read it that I am merely using the facilities.
Shaggy

Did you guys notice that 'Tickled Pink' will be in Falmouth on Monday eve as a stop-off on her round Britain attempt. She'll be passing Pentewan on Tues Morn. It would be good to give the guys a bit of support.
