Trying to put together a london sib day

Trying to put together a few extra sibs/ribs for a day out on the river lea and bow back rivers, ideally running a good chunk of the river lea...

Got a friend who flys fpv drones coming out for the day too, idea being to shoot some good video of a bunch of us running up the river and having a mess about... anyone down?

Bit about me... my names andy, 21, lived aboard a sailing boat, narrowboat and now an rlm bahama motor cruiser for the last 5 years or so. I have a 3.1m avon sib, 8hp mariner and also a smaller 2.8m bark with 5hp honda.

Not got a date in mind yet, just waiting on a few nice days of weather again... also planning some further trips over summer, tidal thames, redsands sea forts, probably a trip up to the norfolk broads for a weeks camping plus a few other little bits.

Drop a reply, shoot me a private message or whatever... would be good to meet more people doing the same things!

Yes there are, 4 knots, although the bow back rivers don't have any morred craft so you can get away with doing more 99% of the time, and to be honest on the lea people seem less wound up with you planing down it than driving along at 6 knots smacking all the boats together...
