Up the Dee to Chester

Anyone interested in a blast up to Chester from West Kirby slip? Wed. April 7th is a hefty 9.9m tide (13.29 full tide) gives ample opportunity to get over the weir and visit a pub or two for lunch to recover 14.15ish. I guess launching off the moorings would be about 10.00 if the tractor is available?

Looks like Wednesday's a bad day Deetox Anyway, if you can pick a suitable tide for a Saturday or preferably a Sunday, I'd be very interested in going up the Dee - I've done a bit of wildfowling on the estuary and I'd love to see it from the river side so to speak. Would be grateful if you could keep me informed on this because I could combine it with one of my week-ends in Anglesey.

up the Dee to Chester

Looks like this will go on hold for a while as the chance of some serious playtime in Abersoch has appealed to the family more than dodging plane wings coming down the Dee to Mostyn Docks.

When it's a goer, I'll post it up (poss May 5th??)

When are you.....

thinking of coming to Abersoch and what if any assistance can I give in helping you with a B&B etc.

I'm in Abersoch myself every weekend and although I now live in Manchester I was born and bread 100 yards from Hoylake R.N.L.I.

Graeme.

Hi Graeme
At the moment it looks as if it will be around Apr 6/7th or 7/8th,
we do have a number of friends who live in and around Abersoch but we don't want to push our luck too often, so any good tips on hidden treasures of B&B's would be good to have.
Cheers

I'm around on the.......

8th-9th-10-11-12th of April for the Easter break. Ian, Jono, Dave Manning and with a little luck Phil Davies should also be about (I need someone with a smaller rib than me to take the piss out of)so feel free to give us a shout a little closer to the time as I'm positive we'll be out at some point.

There's a few decent guest houses and one or two ok hotels. If you need specifics just ask as I already have all the info you need.

See ya down there.........

Phil, are you about ?

Yes, I'll undoubtedly be about, although clearly I wouldn't wish to commit to anything at this stage.

By the way, Graeme, did I mention that I've put a deposit down on a 6.5m Scorpion, so looks like you'll have the smallest one!
