Weymouth 16th October
Afternoon All
Im just sorting out the BIBOA annual end of season cruise to Weymouth. The hotel is asking for a list of people that are going. Last year we have about 70 people and so far this year is looking very goodas well.
If any of you are interested in joing BIBOA on this event please let me now ASAP so I can get your names down before we run out of room etc.
Be good to catch up with you all.
Julian

Would be interested in coming - what is the proposed program and how much is the cost of the hotel?

Hi Duncan,
I'm surprised you haven't received the form from BIBOA. As Julian may not be on the forums for a bit I thought I'd reply. The itinery is:
Saturday
- meet at Yarmouth at 12.00, lunch at The Wheatsheaf
- leave for Weymouth from 13.30 on
- dinner at Royal Dorset Yacht Club at 19.30
Sunday
- leave Weymouth around 10.00 arriving in Yarmouth in time for Sunday lunch at the Royal Solent Yacht Club
Price is £70 per head, which includes B&B at the Crown Hotel, 4 course dinner at Royal Dorset YC and Sunday lunch at Royal Solent YC.
Hope to see you there!

I don't believe it. After last year's date juggling trick, you've picked the wrong bloody weekend again !
Can't make it as I've got to take my shoes and socks off and walk over hot coals. Not happy at all.

Roy - Julian isn't on RIB.net very often, so I would give him or Roger a 'phone call. The entry form, address and phone number are in September's RIBlines. If you can't find it, let me know and I can email/PM the details or post you the form.

In case you were being slightly serious it's nothing to do with RIBing but i suspect it has not helped!

Another great weekend. Thanks to Roger and Julian for organising it again. Great to meet up with old friends and to meet some new ones.
For those who are interested, Saturday started off dry and sunny and we had a nice run down to Yarmouth but after lunch the weather deteriorated a little and the wind against tide made St Alban's Head a very nasty place to be! Steep breaking waves made it a pretty interesting few minutes!! All got to Weymouth OK and had a good dinner and rather a lot of beers (mixed with wine for Julian!) Not surprising then that some were looking and feeling a little the next morning!
Today was a totally different kettle of fish! Lovely sunshine, not much wind and a very pleasant ride back, although a bit sloshy in places.
No photos from us, I'm afraid - someone took his camera in its nice waterproof case but forgot to replace the memory card he had taken out and put into his flashy new printer gadget. Hope someone's got one or two - Daniel?
Anyway, nice to see you all again and see you again soon!
