Heading out this afternoon to check the pots, and may be out all day tomorrow, likely between Boulby cliffs and Sandsend.

What's the fishing like at the mo? Many Macks about?

RMS, what time are you launching? HW is 17.20 & it's springs, so the slip will be usable about 15.00. Failing that it's a 8am job & sit out through LW. The WX is better in the PM.

I think you can launch anytime except about 1 1/2 hours either side of low, maybe 1hr if y,or feel brave. The problem is not the amount of water at low tide so much as the step at the end of the slip that you dont want to put the trailer past. I normally wade in first and check out how much space I have if its low. I'll aim to launch about 1.30

Your right Dave 3 hours each side of hw bottom of the slip drops off into deep mud. if your off fishing go down to robin hoods bay to the wreck on the shore if still there steam out 1/2 mile from it to the 20 m contour some nice fishing there on a rising tide, fishing seems to drop off on the ebb tide.

Cheers
