Always up for the crack!

Following failure of his fuel tank connector, Jono prepares to dock with the mother ship.

Spot the Scouser!

'see you in the spring with some real wet weather gear this time!!'

Following this vicious and unprovoked attack on NWRibster newbies, Fred and Jane Bolton's waterproofs, MeMe has the barefaced affrontery to appear sporting this season's must-have accessory - duck-tape gaiters! Fully waterproof and available at a Scouse chandlery near you.

Helmets 'R' Us

Jono and Amy suitably attired as befits the directors of a renowned powerboat school. Dave Manning (grey Magnum), on the other hand, received universal acclaim for his fireman's outfit, while John Firth (orange Tornado) wooed onlookers with his excellent rendition of a MIG welder.

In the pub afterwards...

Ian seems scarcely able to contain his enthusiasm as he listens intently to the rest of us wax lyrical about the joys of owning one's own Rib.

Pet welcome

Allergic to ferrets, my labrador 'Blue' was regretfully unable to join the NWRibster cruise, although in his more accustomed role as a working gundog he is a seasoned traveller in my Searider on wildfowling trips around the Essex marshes.

Brill pics. It looks like you had a great time. Didn't see any ferrets tho'. (Or were they keeping out of the cold? Maybe I did spot something in that photo of one of the boats docking with the mother ship? )

Superb banter......

as always. I loved the comments about Ribless Ian, well done !

Well I must say, that duck tape works wonders and has greatly influenced my decission not to buy the full Musto Drysuit. I wonder if they sell it in blue and white stripes !!!!

Yea, a great couple of cruises which, I look forward to repeating in the Spring.

Given your Merseyside origins Graeme, I am utterly stunned you even bothered to invest in a Musto offshore jacket and salopettes when surely a shellsuit and Nike trainers would have performed equally admirably?

Not fair Mr D. He's not going to wear his wedding outfit to go boating, is he? What you must remember is that Meme is very unique. He's a scouser with a job.

DM.

PS. Two Bigmacs and fries please, Graeme

Furthermore....

.... a Scouser without black curly hair and a moustache. Naturally I don't have access to Merseyside police files to verify his true Liverpool origins

I've just found this......

A great shot od DM taking a quick doze as Ian, once again repeats the fact that he has a RIB arriving in March

Even poor old Jono who has one arriving at the same time has lost all enthusiasm for the plot.

Happy New Year

Great pic's guys,

Dave I am sure you were once a paramedic and not a fireman!

Phil, I want your RR, mine is a 3.9 V8 Classic. I can only drool over the new ones.

I hope some of you will be joining us down south for the Ribnet Gathering in June. Check those calenders it will be an event not to be missed.

Best wishes
Kev.
