I was always under impression the green/red/white lights on the back of your boat, Jimbo, are for navigational purposes! Clearly i was wrong, they are funky disco lights!

This is true - there is also a plan afoot to fit neons to my rib...
Benc - Definitely bring the disco ball, I'll get a spotlight...

I think I could probably arrange lasers... and a few generators...
Hmm, lasers lighting up the needles, that'd be cool

Is this trip weather dependant?
And am i just being blind and not noticed where everyone is meeting, or hasnt anyone suggested a meeting spot?

To a degree... if its a bit of drizzle... then we'll probably still do it. But hail or strong winds I suggest we don't.

BBC are forecasting, for southampton, 12 mph winds with rain/sun. Pretty much covering all bases!

Right, I have spoken with Jimbo, and the suggested plan is...( I don't have his way with words, so it will be short and sweet(ish))
1645 Jimbo/Andy launching at camber
1730 Pompey/Southamptoners Rendezvous at Rising Sun, Warsash
1800 Leave from rising sun, Warsash, heading towards Lymington
1830-1845 Rendezvous with others just off Lymington
Then head towards the needles for a play, and then back to yarmouth for some dinner.
Hopefully the weather will give us a break for the cruise.
Does everyone coming have navigation lights?
