Yarmouth IOW for Nachos - Sat 11th Jan
As I wimped out of last Sundays Nacho run I am considering going over to The Wheatsheaf, Yarmouth, IOW this coming Saturday weather permitting. Anyone else fancy a run in company from Southampton Water to Yarmouth?
If the weather turns particularly wet or windy again I will postpone for better weather.
Chris

Saturday is the best day Chris (from a weather point of view). On the other hand it is not so good for family men like Trevor G who would probably prefer Sunday. I shall be there whichever day is decided

I'll be returning to Calshot and recovering onto my trailer around 3:00pm and aim to be back in The Midlands by 6:30pm. Depending where you live Trimix it should be doable if you want to come along. If not we will hopefully see you next time (I want to see this Hysucat).

I was thinking of leaving Southampton Water around 10:30am, heading out to The Needles sea state permitting, back into Yarmouth for around 12:30 for Nachos, then back out on the water around 14:00 for a blast back to Southampton Water, recovering onto my trailer around 15:00
Andre, are you departing from Southampton Water?
Chris

Come on Trimix - launch at Lymington, over to Yarmouth in 10 minutes, bowl of Nacho's and then home for tea

Fantastic, I'll see you at the south end of Soton water around 10:30 and we can run out in convoy. You can't miss me I'm very small and very orange Official call sign and MMSI are in my signature, and I also respond to "Rib Tigga". I'll be listening on ch 16 and ch 77
Looking forward to the first run of 2014.

Come on Trimix you know you want to. You will have company from either Calshot or Lymington, so there will be willing helpers to assist with launch and recovery at either location.

What are the slip ways like then ?
My boat needs to float off the trailer (its bunks not rollers) and its flipping long. I was fine at Cobbs, but they have a nice slipway there that allowed me to almost back the van into the water as well as the whole trailer.
