Yarmouth Sunday 22nd Jan

As the weather's not looking too bad, and I missed the 1st Nacho run of the year, I'm planning on a lunch visit to Yarmouth this Sunday. As usual starting from Southampton, eta Yarmouth about midday.
Anyone else likely to be out and about?

Hi Trev, I'll come out of Lymington in Red Arrow and meet you off Calshot about 11.30 - will be on VHF 08 and 16.

Hi Trev! Thanks for the phone call. Tides and weather look good for us - not sure whether Mrs A will want to face the cold though. Will try and persuade her! If successful, will see you at Yarmouth just after 12.00.

You need to get her a nice toasty Fladen floatation suit. Cheap (the suit, not Mrs A) and ideal for this cold weather!

* I forgot to say... of course, other brands are available!

- But I did think she would be particularly delighted with the dayglo yellow that the Fladen comes in. The mullion red might clash with her hair!

She got a set of white Mustos for Christmas already! She wore them and her Gecko helmet on the Nacho Run and complained of the cold then when the temperature was in double figures. I hope to persuade her that it is a matter of building up the layers beneath the Mustos that will keep her warm since I'm not sure that the offer of a cuddle half way across Christchurch Bay will cut the mustard at 2°C!
