30,000 Miles and still going...

I've just clocked up 30,000 miles in my Defender on Goodyear MTR 235/85R16 tyres and I have to say what a great tyre they are.
If your looking to replace your tyres I'd recommend giving theses ago


Still loads of miles left in these well worth the money

Just done 45k on a set of Falken Landairs (cheap as chips) on my Ranger pickup towing rib and trailers all over the place. They are goosed now but guess what I will be replacing them with?

Only downside is there made in Germany

I've just changed my BFG Mud Terrains on the Hilux, 22k to a set of four.

The new compound isn't as good as it used to be.

I hope my Goodyear MTR's last as well as that! Fitted them on my 110 probably 2 years to replace the Michelin XZL's which are always a right pain to get hold of. The MTR's certainly grip better and have slightly lower road noise than the XZL's, but think my mpg figure has dropped a tiny bit.
