Is it any wonder you fellows get a bad name abroad ? I use the term fellows loosely [emoji57] ..
Much as I enjoyed the opening match with the Boyos .. yet again I feel we in Scotland just have too small a player set to draw on... The French game was good .. and TBH we got away with a lot as they dropped and fumbled a lot, so did we, but not at the critical moments as much, my MOTM for Scotland was Stuart Hogg 'Initially' but then he seemed to believe some of his own hype, and tried some silly interceptions .. but... thats where he's scored some classic trys in the past.

Can't say I agree with going back two phases with the TMO. How far back can you go? Did they cross wrongly as they got off the tour bus?
It should be used for grounding and any penalty issue in the final phase.

I didn't e the match but heard it on the car radio and was confused by this. Surely if there was a problem then its either a penalty/scrum or advantage at a contemporaneous moment

England crossed and took out a welsh player (just) and it should have been probably (just) been given at that point by the ref.
However play continued and that phase ended with a ruck. Then after that ruck England went on to score.
I didn't see how the crossing directly affected the try. If you went back another phase or two i would bet you would see another infringment by one of the teams that the ref missed.
Surely the point is that the ref calls the shots with the help of the linesman and keeps the game going. The TMO is used for the last phase of play and the grounding, where any infringements that directly affect the ability to score a try are found?
Going back phase after phase slows the game and takes the flow away more than necessary.

He didn't just cross he took out the on coming tackler that's why it was important

Yes I know that, I AGREE it was a penalty BUT it was missed and re game moved on. my point is it was too far back IMHO to directly impact the try.

Paul its history now and the game was won by your team being far superior in the second half. I actually think that once he took the TMO evidence your forward should have been of for a professional foul

You are correct The Welsh side tend to concentrate on winning the International Championship.
But fair play to you have one the world cup you also did it at Football but you may be too young to remember that if you are under 52 years old.
But fair play to you you english %"!*&&^$$% seem to be on the case this year. sadly

TMO was all over the welsh scot game. Ref didn't know what to do. How many times did he make a decision then go and check it, then change his mind. It was really annoying. I'd rather not have it.

Gatland is a spent force. Warrenball has been suss'd and negated, he currently has a lot talent going around in circles. With a different ref, Scotland would've/should've won.

Feck me I'm jealous TT. I'd give up all the days even you spend on the water for those tickets.
Loved the last 10 of the Italy game. Shame the Frogs couldn't kick a ball properly or keep the. All in hand enough to use their skills. He ho, can't rely on the French, always known that so let's go it alone as usual. Deciding game tomorrow I feel!
