I'm actually excited about English rugby right now. The post '03 seasons of protracted ineptitude may now be coming to an end.

Oh yea don't get me wrong generally good cause for excitement look at how we've played compared to the WC debacle, I'm criticizing a side that have put 30 points on Ireland because 'England Expects!'

'Downt bee a twatt yew twatt' is an age old piece of Ribnet banter from the master himself, but you wouldn't know about that.
After the broadside that you fired into me, it was a gentle reposte for which I'm not known.
So how about stopping your blubbing now? 'coz it's boring.

Glad all that's over with.
When it comes to singing the praises of coaches, Warren Gatland hasn't done a bad job over the last 4 years, given the resources he's had to work with.

I have two pages of posts to read on this thread yet, but I aint going to without agreeing with you Mr Flibble .... I am at the point of switching the TV off for good when it comes to rugby .. theres obviously something seriously wrong within our team. Todays game was utterly shocking and the most amateurish effort ive seen since I was a number 8 in my school boy days dear o dear o dear

For sure.
So would you've swapped the GS for a RWC final?

Come on Kernow! What you Gripeing about?? Some people have very short memories! Not very long ago England were a Laughing stock!..(and Rightly so!)
A good Scrum is Pivotal, and you seldom see an International Pack take a Pasteing like THAT!...ENJOY IT! As for the where the Trys are comeing from,Crofty, and a few of the Big lads look a Pretty good bet! That's befor a young team, loaded with talent, AND Belief but who've not played together very much, and who missed the Grand slam this time round, by a matter of INCHES!...realy start to Gel!

Not sure about Robshaw as he's playing out of position at 7. IMV openside is a pivotal position, especially now as winning the breakdown is key to virtually everything. Robshaw is a yard to slow to make a real nuisance of himself in the Martin Williams, Michael Jones, Backy mould.
Other than that, he appears to be effective and a decent skipper.
Paul Ackford rates him and that'll do for me.
