Being half Welsh I am obviously happy for them and well done to the Scots who must have been would up by last weeks defeat and really got their sh1t together - I was a bit disappointed by the Irish tendency to rush in with boots and fists and I think the Irish number 1 should have been sent home for his behaviour - or am I the only one that saw that?
England are certainly looking like likely candidates for the Grand Slam this year - who can stop them now?

Probably the Welsh!! But as I said in previous post beware the French backlash. Agree with you re the Irish prop overall I though the ref was to lenient as for instance Farrell should have been sin binned early doors that might have set the tone a bit better. Anyway upwards and onwards.

Barbaric, unacceptable. This crap was going on in the 70's along with gouging and all manner of thuggery. I'd give him a lifetime international ban if I were chairing the citing panel. That would maintain his living, but send out a strong message.

He might get quite a stiff suspension over it, due to how deliberate it was, and the fact it could have easily ended somones career because of it

Interestingly the penalties conceded count was 11 to 14 in favour of ireland but the key was England played in Ireland's half and conceded them when out of range.
Put aside O'gara's terrible kicking performance (from hand as well as penalties) and it helped a lot but no question, the right team won.
Be interesting to see what French side arrive at twickenham. A French side embarrassed by the Italians and welsh cold be a very tough prospect for England. My mine is still on England but will be a hell of a game!
