quite possibly true, but what kind of saddo hides behind a computer, never meets anyone, talks about getting a boat that never materialises, comes up with excuses time after time, never meets up with other ribbers to go on cruises, etc etc etc is the fountain of all knowledge etc etc, that is the true sad person in all of this.....missing out on a lot of fun in my book
mind you i am a bit sad spending so much time on here tonight exchanging posts with you,
but
i have had a good laugh iwth the sw ribbers and they posted some fun stuff so that was good, mollers, roy, richard, keef and the crowd are the boys

Don't get me wrong - I'm not sticking up for Codprawn - I too think the guy/girl is "a few friends short of a party" but...
Maybe this is what he/she does for fun and is not missing out at all - it takes all sorts to make this weired old world turn round.
I happen to know a load of people that think everyone on this Forum is "SAD" just for chatting to other people on it.
Its all relative - lets face it chatting on an internet forum to a load of "virtual" people isn't the coolest thing in the world... In fact its quite Geeky.
There are even people on this forum who like cricket for god sake - now how sad is that. ( that bit was a wind up)

Yellow card
Hugh Jardon, any more Cod-baiting and you'll have a week in the sin bin.
Codprawn don't rise to the bait, you only encourage him!
John

OK Tony. You now owe GAFIRS £50
Hugh Jardon can spend the next couple of weeks being sociable with his family rather than gobbing off on RIBnet. His suspension expires at 4pm on Christmas day*, so he'll be able to really piss his wife off when he fires up the computer between the mince pies and the sherry
John
* Edit: That's just changed to 8pm on 11 January 2006

The cause seems charitable, the deal well struck, so I'll add a tenner to that in the morning.
