Actual - Sunday 07-0805

Two things made my Sunday.

- The Russian mini sub was Ok with all hands saved
- UK beat Australia by two runs in the second test - hard luck cobber try
harder next time.

The most important of these, was the cutting free by a British unmanned RV using British technology - of the Russian sub. Where were you USA?. Today I am flying the flag... will have to put a bigger one
on the boat as Britannia does indeed rule the waves.
I only hope that the words about the second test won't come to haunt me at the end of the series.

Jonathan

Well, seeing as we Brits are being racist!

The sub rescue craft is based in Scotland, on the Clyde. Best ribbin territory by far.

From THEIR website

"The England and Wales Cricket Board provides support for the game far beyond the boundaries of just international and first class cricket."

Just because they are also being racist by leaving out the W doesn't make it right!!!!!!!!

CODDERS AND GARFISH

I chose the collectivism 'UK" instead of "England" -in the original post to avoid
accusations of racism in the first place!!!!!!!!!

"Uk" can mean anything and everybody at the same time- it can even encompass the chief executive from Canterbury City Council - why Canterbury in the first place Garfish??. They have a pretty good cathredal but thats about it -and they charge you a fiver to get in.
