Adding photos
I’m sure this has been covered before, but I can’t find anything to help me to add photos to a post. When I click on the paper clip icon, I can see images I’ve taken, but can’t seem to access my photo library for what I want.
Any help, in simple terms, would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Steve. Photos are on my I phone and iPad. My I.t skills are notoriously limited! Should I forward images from my photo library somehow, or open the paper clip in ribnet to attach? If it’s the latter, it’s not working.
Any help appreciated.

Hi. I tried to upload a pic in this reply but says “invalid file” This is a jpeg from a iPad.
I tried ……manage attachments….choose file……photos……upload…. But that’s when the file error message come up instead.
Will check on the phone shortly which is android in case it’s a iOS thing like I’ve had in the past.

Adding photos
Normally post and upload photos from an iPhone.
Click on the paper clip and this prompt appears.
Click on select more photos.
Tick selected photos and press done.
Recently added page should appear with pics.
Click on chosen pic and press done.
Photo should then upload and you’ll return to reply page.
Good luck🤞

Ahhh just checked and annoyed the dog just now and it was on. Off now and changed size from 5.6mb to 835kb…..but still no joy uploading with the iPad.
It’s the wife’s one and quite new, so I’ve probably never tried with it before, now I think of it pd.
Will investigate the settings a bit today though.

Tried changing a few things in the iCloud thingy settings too, but without success!
Sorry for hijacking the thread OS,but although I don’t even want to post any photographs from her tablet……..it’s just bugging me why it won’t work.
I shouldn’t be let out to be near anything like this..….her tablet will never be the same again

Thanks all. I’ve noted your guide Chipko.
When I start a reply, and press paper clip, up comes a page with
Orange coloured header.
Bit has three options:-
Back. Recently added. Cancel
If I press the centre one, it brings up a few boating images under both the recents option, and the live option, but nothing else.
I cannot seem to get out of this page to do what you’ve suggested.
I see I’m not alone with all this!

I’ve gone back into settings on iPad.
Gone to photos
Sharing
Ribnet
Which allowed me to deselect not relevant pictures, and select some I wanted, which I have now added to my setting up sib trailer post. I’m still a bit confused( nothing new), but done.
Thanks all for input and help

Clicking the “Back” option should take you to your main photo album.

For some reason it only takes me back to a small selection, not the full library. I suspect I’ve messed something up somewhere. I’ve found a temporary, long winded way to get the result, just need to get back to normal method.

At least you can post now in some way.
I still can’t post jpegs from the tablet…….I am starting to think I’ve changed a setting somewhere, but not a clue.
When I click on the paper clip thing I seem to get a different screen from you guys, and it just goes straight to the manage attachments screen, where the only option is to click the “choose file” and then “upload”
Then I just get the “invalid file” message using the tablet when I do.
So god knows what I’ve done!
