Congratulation to Alex as he has just finished third in the Vendee Globe solo non-stop, around-the-world race .

In doing so he has also become the fastest Briton ever to sail around the world in a monohull boat, breaking the previous record by nearly eight days.

He may be a WAFI but what a WAFI - 27,000 miles in 80 days - incredible
