Another case of all the gear no idea!!

Watching a rib leave a very shallow studland beach this morning.

Engine quite clearly on the sea bed banging the floor in 1/2 foot waves. Engine fully trimmed down.

Lifted the anchor.

Boot full if throttle & to their amazement the boat didn't move!! It then kept swinging around in the chop!

Their way to solve this problem...more power!!

The guy on the helm fought with the steering which the proceeded to snap!!

So no steering under load on power & on a corse for the beach.

Didn't quite beach it but have snapped the steering by the looks of it & the guys having a tantrum!

Ooops, not a boat I recognise locally. Hope he got it fixed!

They did! It sat there all day and they left about 4. This time with the prop just in the water revving the nuts off it
