See, if he'd had a Hilux Surf, it would have been easier...
Maybe.

To be honest I can't really say much! I had to launch with my mum last weekend
She couldn't back the trailer down the slipway so I had to unhitch my trailer and without looking too much of a plonker manually roll it down the slip way and into the water then pull it back up Then she complained when I asked her to hold the boat in kneed deep water whilst I hauled the trailer back up
Tip if you can't drive; get your dad to do it.

Nope, i won't do it!
tempted to get an extension for the Ballistic, if repositioning and unseizing a couple of the rollers doesn't work.

That's a relief Nos, I always take a rope and push the trailer in and float the boat on/off then pull the trailer out until I can get the car hitched on dry !!! Bit of a faff but it's a 4 wheel trailer so balance is pretty good.
I dread to think what some of these cars look like after a couple of years.......

I suspect a lot of the ones we see being dunked are company or contract hire cars.
I once saw some kids drive Daddy's Disco in up to the top of the wheels to jumpstart an old rib. I was cringeing.

Or do what I do if it gets splashed a bit (sometimes unavoidable at Calshot with wakes etc).
Drive it through a ford fast.
