Another year woo hoo!! :)

Just got the trusty SJ (rib towing device) through an MOT, needed carb part for the emissions.. oh and a front lightbulb as it was making a strange pattern on one side! , not bad for a 21year car...

now then time to get that boat wet!

SJs are great - first vehicle I ever drove on my own when I was 12 - in an old quarry in the desert.

They are awesome offroad but shit on it.

Anyone who slags off Land Rovers for rusting should see one of these!!!

Would have thought them a bit underpowered for towing though???

shes does okay on the towing, I take it easy mind , just potter around at around 30/40 when towing, have been on the motorway but take it real slow winding it all up to no more than 50 - no problems what so ever on the slip though, which is my main concern!
as for the off roading I've had it momentarily on 2 wheels and nearly over most amusing

I know Wales can be bleak at times but I wouldn’t exactly describe it as a desert

Presumably a sand quarry, or bunker to our golfing friends.

Olly, I have told you before, not to do side slopes in your SJ.
At leat they are light enough to put up the right way by yourself.

Nice looking Suzuki Samurai Ollyit. Thats what they're called in the US.
Must be very fuel economical. I drive a Mitsubishi Montero 2 door. Its a bit bigger than the Samurai, kinda like a Jeep. I like the economy and towing capacity of the smaller Japanese SUVs. Must be fun to take on trails.
