How frustrating for you... could it be stuck in customs perhaps?

That looks like the sort of tracking message you get when the package has been booked in but not actually collected.

Often on automated phone systems if you press "0" then it'll put you straight through to a real person. Works 80% of the time

Try phoning the CEO. The moderator removed the number from my earlier post, however it is listed on this Forum under the Trade Directory. I'm sure if you called him and explained your predicament something would get sorted out....

ok I will try to contact the CEO, thanks.
Meanwhile on the chat they said that "We do not know what is happening with the delivery, it may arrive with you tomorrow. We cannot proceed until our courier has explained the reason for the delay."

Today I got a prompt reply by email from Marine Megastore (I assume the CEO that I have contacted yesterday) that confirms that the problem is with the courier (I have noticed some not fully positive comments here about DPD) and take the items to an other courier.
Apparently the problem was with liquid (I ordered also some glue to fix trademaster and those are liquid).
Now I am waiting a new tracking number and the start of a new adventure that is waiting for me. :-)
I would like to thank here the CEO of Marine Megastore for prompt reply and action to sort this out (I hope).

Glad to hear that there's some traction. Most CEO's are customer focussed - so it's good to hear this one is too!

I think if you're CEO of a privately owned sub £2m pbt company, you're probably very focussed on the business. It's a sweeping generalisation of course.
The bigger the business, the lower the handicap....

Well it doesn't look that way, you have his number why not call him and pass the news of the "good PR" this thread is giving him and you could also tell him that sorting out alessandro's order and delivery may do him some good in the eyes of a few boat users

I can also confirm that after much pain trying to talk to someone I just asked for a refund on an order as I couldn't put up with the hassle I was experiencing.
Went down to local boat shop and paid £10 extra to have it there and then.
My recommendation is don't use them because they are rubbish.

The CEO of Cactus Electronics was really obnoxious to me - their turnover is prob quite a bit more but still no excuse. I will never use them again or MES as it's the same company - they tried to take me to court because of their own mistakes!!!

I take it all back...
...so I mixed up Megastore and Superstore and placed an order at Megastore on 24th November.
Didn't hear any more so emailed them so emailed them on the 2nd of Dec. Automated reply said they would respond within 3 days. Got a reply on the 7th Dec with a promise that I would receive it "this week" (so by 12th).
Still not received it today - so I again got in touch and eventually spoke to "James" who told me the product was now discontinued and they couldn't supply it - but they had essentially identical product (same manufacturer but different name) - but it would cost me more.
Suggested they call me - which to their credit they did straight away - but "Richard" obviously doesn't understand that I don't really care that its their suppliers fault not his - they should be much better at keeping me informed, they should have up to date info on their site, they should have a pro-active system for monitoring orders that fall behind/late, they should have contacted me to tell me it was late/problem.
So I'm afraid to say that they don't seem to have improved in the time since this thread started - its surprising that their still in business given all the other people who seem to have e-commerce sorted.

Please be careful if ordering from Marine Megastore!
hi to all. I felt I had to share my bad experience with Marine Megastore. I ordered in January after the boat show a load of stuff from MM. Including a Garmin plotter for nearly £450. After a few days I got notification it was being shipped. It arrived at work on a friday and was signed for by our warehouse manager and was then put into a secure area and under a load of other boxes from Fedex. Sadly I was up north that day but on the Monday I went down to the warehouse to get my box. Got back to the office and opened the box to find the garmin was missing. After investigation with MM we realised that the box had been opened during transit and the garmin stolen. The box as taped up with different fragile tape! However, MM will not re-ship the missing item until Fedex have completed their investigation and this has been about 4 weeks already! So what if Fedex won't pay up to MM???? I doubt MM will send me a replacement will they??
This is a horrid situation and I have no idea whether I am now going to be £450 out of pocket. All MM will say is that I have to co-operate and wait!!!

I hope that nobody from your warehouse lifted your plotter.
