Anyone in the Transporting buisness?
I'm in a bit of a pickle, I've found the perfect hedge trimmer for my tractor but unfortunately it's closer to France than it is to me, Dorset to be exact. It's also a big item weighing in at 545kg.
I need it delivering to my place in Fort William.
Anyone any ideas?
TIA

Local company I use is shears brothers. Try sbtl.co.uk. They do network stuff but also do direct loads sometime to the frozen north. Noel Tannock is the guy to talk to.

That's a hard question to answer, the hydraulic pack will be 1.2m x 600 and the head will be 1.2m x 500, both these parts are connected with the crane arm so the overall footprint is quite large.
EDIT
Here's the unit. I've also just noticed its 720kg, the bloke told me 545!

You might get one of the pallet line firms to do it as three pallet spaces?
