at least the wheels did not fall off the lotus

friday afternoon, after the floods we made our way up to Bedford Autodrome for a track day.

we took the Lotus around the track for 3 hours which was great fun. it is a superb safe track as it is flat with lots of grass spin off areas so you are unlikely to damage your car.

thoroughly recommend it for track days if you dont want to damage/break your prescious baby

here are a couple of pics of me in action having fun

the rain stopped as we got there and during the session the track dried out as the evening went on.

was a lot of fun

Why is it predictable - it could have been an Atom or a Caterham or a Westie or a Radical or anything else - what is MORE predictable is you amazing capacity for making snide remarks!!!

I'm off to the Nurburg Ring this weekend for a couple of days. No forgiveness there from the track & my Honda S2000 can be - how shall i put this? - a bit demanding in the wet

never done that but would love to, loads of my friends have done it on their bikes and cars, apparently it is a bit of a free for all

take care of yourself and that honda.....they are lovely, there was one on the track with us, or i think it was...see pic
when you got on the straight you could see where the serious bhp came in

check out those clouds....you can imagine how wet the track was and the surrounding area
