Atlantic Challenge

RIBster Rachel Smith with her friend Lin are to devote their energies to another boating passion, rowing!

They are to row across the Atlantic in aid of Breast Cancer charities. You can see some info about the event at: Atlantic Challenge

They are seeking support and sponsorship from all mariners in an attempt not only to cross the Atlantic but also to raise £90,000 for the cause.

Some 41,000 women and 300 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. Most families have been or know of others who have been effected by this cancer. If you would like to make a contribution you may do so online at: http://www.justgiving.com/atlanticrowing

Please give the girls some support in their brave challenge.

Thats a shame no takers to start another Charity Auction , Plenty of schools use the forum to promote their business through either trade membership or not.

I would have thought some of you would have been pleased to offer a course or something .
