Bank Hoilday Competition

Just for a bit of fun, who can guess how long it will take me to drive my usual 136 miles from Manchester to Abersoch this coming Friday amongst the maddening crowd of similar weekend getawayers !

I'll be leaving the house at 1600 on the dot. Navigating the M60/M62/M60/M53/A55/A499.

I'll be using my TomTom Go to assist with road works, delays and the fastest route. I'll be putting my foot down whenever possible and will endevour to make door to door without stopping.

Closest one to the exact time detailed on my "on board trip meter" will win........................

A bottle of whiskey / gin / brandy - whatever tipple takes your fancy and a bottle of Perfume (for the girls) or Aftershave (for the boys). Possibly both !

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 3rd May before 10:00 with their prize despatched the same day.

Two or more identical times MAY result in multiple prizes however, more than likely, the first correct posting will win - Good Luck.

Put me in for 3hrs 2mins.

I should warn you that I have taken the liberty of informing the Chief Constable of North Wales, Richard Brunstrom, of your impending arrival and he has pledged to double the laser speed trap count on the A55 and surrounding rat-runs. Officers will be primed to apprehend all black Audi A4's driven by shell-suit clad scousers. Should keep 'em busy all evening, then.

Hadn’t realised that shell-suits allow you to cut up your fellow motorist, use the wrong side of the motorway and get of virtually Scot free if caught by De Flic, so 2.20Hr if clad in shell and 1.20Hr if it is stripy shell Des

I'd just like to point out that the above post by MeMe is directed at Graham, not me! I never break the speed limit and have never had so much as a parking ticket let alone points on my licence or a fine!

Only 12 entrants.......

..thus far. That makes pretty good odd for wining a bottle of scotch and £50 worth of perfume. Obviously we have a lot of odourless tea totalers on the forum.
