Bear on the telly.
Bear Grylls' adventures on TV
British adventurer Bear Grylls has to find his way out of some of the world's most inhospitable places, in a new series on the Discovery Channel.
Ultimate Survival is the first of eight programmes, which will also be shown later this year on Channel Four, in which Grylls "relives epic stories of human survival by putting himself in life-threatening situations".
And the Englishman's controversial transatlantic RIB adventure two years ago is the subject of another Discovery Channel documentary, entitled Facing the Frozen Ocean.
