Depends on your point of view. Personally, no I think he'll be worse. However, hopefully that should hasten the end of this government.

Gordon Brown texture like sun
Lays me down with my mind she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with Gordon Brown.

Liz,
That's making me nervous. All this talk of a snap election. The new incumbent is riding on a bit of a high at the moment.

Its an interesting point Nick. However hopefully there are enough of us that realise that he's going to be MUCH worse than grinning Tony ever was to actually get rid of him...

Sounds good to me...
By the way Mollers, you do know that 'Golden Brown' is about Heroin don't you? I'd hate for Labour to become an addiction...

Because David Cameron is a viable alternative?
I'm a true believer that Labour have been in power this long because there is no viable alternative. If there was, Blair would have been out of there at the last election.
There has been a common opinion against government whether it is central or local but they have still remained in power.
I think the only real difference these days is that the "protest vote" is no longer aimed at the main opposition party but at the minority parties like UKIP and the Green Party etc.
Oh well, back to looking forward to the unknown!

What amazes me is that poor Guy Fawkes was executed and we celebrate every year by buring an effigy of the poor bloke on a bonfire. He should have been given a medal - maybe it's time for a new guy???

Of all the bad or good things Blair could have done.
The fact he started a major war and then has never been there to welcome back the bodies has been a snub no one should ever forget.
But he was present for the Falkland 25th celebrations. Because it was cool....
He should rot in hell for that act alone................

France, Germany, USA, Canada, the list is pretty endless.
Many find a better place to live in and many of us dream for the day when we can live in a better place.
