Anyone fancy putting tubes on a bus - I think it would look more stable? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/8506154.stm

Tubes not required after spending £700 thousand pounds on a bus..

There was only enough cash left to pay for a small sign that says.
When in motion please do not stand.?

Life belts are under the seat in front of you please place your 20 pence in the slot to release the life belt.

This thing used to run in Monterey a while back, before it moved to Santa Barbara.

Personally I'm glad it left; the guy driving used to enter the water at about 25mph; almost knocked people off nearby docks and boats a few times.

Chewy - I am sure you are right, and I'm sure its been appropriately tested to get through the approval/licensing process. I hope they've taken into account that the proposed customer base are from a city with an obesity problem though! But from the outside it looks too tall for its beam. I guess what you describe with the CoG being low is a bit like a "weeble". Thats not going to be good for motion sickness (although if I understand correctly the bit of the clyde stage coach are "planning" to cross is so narrow that with a good run up and a ramp you could jump it...)

Is it going to Glasgow?
Imagine that on a weekend, loads of drunks running from one side to the other trying to tip it.

Stagecoach are considering it as a possible option to replace the Renfrew Ferry which is earmarked for closure.
