Change Life Jacket to Automatic

I got myself two Kru life jackets ready for the family this summer - got them from eBay, guess some old stock as they are both brand new, but one is automatic and other manual - and as they are both identical I want to remove any possible confusion, so can I change this

No, there's no way to change a manual to auto.

For UML type (like yours) you can change auto to manual with a little cap that replaces the release cartridge.

I wouldnt change an auto to manual to make them match
personally I think manual jackets are pretty useless as even during training sessions in a pool I find it difficult to a) find the pull chord & b) pull it with cold hands
thats always assuming your still conscious when you hit the water
personally id bin the manual one and find another auto to match it

I wanted to change them both to Auto, but if it cant be done, it cant be done.

They hold pressure and knew they were manual but got them cheap enough so cant really complain.

just make sure when you fall in you have the auto jacket on lol!!

tbh I cant see why it cant be returned to manufacturer for an upgrade assuming the cost isnt too great

These are spare or for the odd new passenger, I have a 275 Spinlock 5D for myself...

I just ideally wanted them both to be Auto, but as they were cheap eBay purchases they will stay as they are, one auto and one manual.. Luck of the draw...
