Crack in boat mould

Would a hair-line crack in a mould affect the finished product significatly (cosmetically). I'm talking about a crack here that you can't feel but which you can see. Surly if it was an issue you could simply rub the gelcoat down to reduce any lump......

I ask becasue I have this mould I'm selling (not for a RIB) but a bloke is trying to knock me down becasue of this little crack. I dont think it will affect it but he is "insisting" it will.....

Why can't you fill it with body filler, rub it down and get full price. If it's as small as you say would only take 5 mins.
