Excellent. You've obviously adopted the John Wayne approach. Should have got your wife to give you a slug of whisky!

I wasn't going to post on this one but I need to tell you guys, don't tough up and brave it, get it sorted, I worked through a tooth problem, took antibiotics and left the loose tooth in place, I would never have thought it would have triggered my throat cancer but it did, I had never heard of viral cancer but the doc reckons my abscess triggered it, I was a big tough boy and thought I could handle anything, what a twat I was

Thanks for all the kind words guys, oh, and the suggestions.

Biff.
Many thanks for posting this.
I've always Manned up to this sort of thing and thought I could handle pain quite well having dealt with some nasty stuff in the past, but this was just epic despite the perscription Codine.

However, now it's died down and the hole between my gum and nasel cavity is closing up and healing I'm getting huge head aches that come on instantly, and I can't look at a PC screen or TV without sunglasses for more than 5 mins without my eyes hurting like mad.
I'm sure it's all going to die down over the next few days, but I'll be a bit more likely to visit the dentist or doctor earlier in the future.

Nasher.

This is very interesting because I was working alongside an agencey worker the other day who was hungerian in his early fortys who told me in conversation that he had a heart attack at the age of 21 which nearly killed him and also left him incapacitated for a long time. He was an active football player and was very fit. The doctors were baffled what caused it but later discovered that he had a very bad tooth and they believed that was the cause of his heart attack. The doctors and specialists told him that many of them although not proven believe that seriouse dental problems are the cause of many other major illnesses.
