If they're the Lithium-Ion ones good luck! I've seen prices from £80 to £160 for one!
I had two 18volt ones pack up on me so scrapped the lot and gone AEG.

NiCad memory is why I won't use anything with NiCads anymore (unless I absolutely can't get around it.)
The NiMH batteries are a little more, but don't have the memory effect. LiIon's are lighter (or more energy dense, if you want to look at it that way), no memory, but really expensive (comparably) and have a finite shelf life.
I use the Lithium system in my DeWalt cordless drill and impact driver; the extra cost is offset by the lack of headaches dealing with the memory of NiCads (I, like many others, have a collection of Makita NiCad batteries that are useless now.)

All the Dewalts I ever used always suffered from crap batteries. Buy a Hitachi Li ion and you'll never look back. That said though I did prefer the Makita NiMH for smooth power delivery whilst tapping as the Li Ion's power comes in a bit heavy handed.
