I have a K750 and think the MP3 player is great, you need a decent sized memory card though. The Radio is good too, except you need the ear phone plugged in to use as an Aerial.

Don't forget, however, that you are limited to O2 or 3G with the Iphone though, unless you get an unscrupulous person to liberate and then don't do the software updates

The iPhone doesn't have 3G; it uses Edge. But with the O2 contract you get unlimited data downloading and free access to 7500 wi-fi hotspots via The Cloud.

apple iphone does look nice, but I'll only lose it in the sea! - I can get the k810i or the w880i on free upgrade with 02, I lost my old one on a drunken night out and dont wanna shell out, just wondered if any one had a k810i and could comment on the mp3 player (playlists etc)

They are fine unless you are a serious audiophile.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that.

Don't you just love how propriatory Apple have gone, worse than Microsoft! Albeit that they are now finding how difficult it is to manage and starting to allow others to play HERE

Worse than Microsoft. Get out of here.

Apple are listening to what the people want. There is a desire for 3rd party apps out there so they are going to give developers an SDK in February 2008.

Right you are. Once the iPhone lands on the mat, I'll give you a heads up.

Olly,

I have said phone (810i walkman). Its nice, I like it a lot. They have done away with the joy stick of the K750i as they always broke after time (mine did) and in its place have given you a touch pad thingy, much better.

Comes with a 512meg memory stick and some really nice in ear ear phones which do a great job of blocking out the ambient sound. Similar in style to these: http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/icm.nsf/root/500830 Also comes with the cable to connect it to ya PC and some software, useful not only for downloading music to it, but also transferring photos over to the PC.

Camera is not too bad on it either.

Hope that helps.

How much does an iPhone cost in the UK? I am considering one over here in the USA and I think they cost around $400. Plus the monthly service. Problem is all I need is phone and E mail and not al the other bells and whistles.
Thanks.
