They must have this new grass with a built in spike strip, not that anyone would want to nick the Hyundai!
Asside from the fact that its useless in preventing the car getting stolen, returning home late at night after a long drive are you really going to bother to get out and lower the post, I know I would be on the grass!

The Red post isn't a security device.

It's a target! To help women drivers get off the drive without going over the grass

Just a thought.

The property appears to be opposite a school, with Double yellow lines down both sides of the road.

Perhaps they are just fed up with people reversing into their drive to turn around or even parking in their drive when picking their kids up.

Nasher.

Yeh fair one. Sort of thing I'd contemplate seeing the way parents act at our local school when it comes to picking up and dropping off their little darlings. They just dump their cars anywhere.

And before anyone says it I have never driven to school to pick the kids up. But I have walked miles and miles to meet them.

That reminds me of a time when I stayed a night at an exclusive timeshare with the outlaws once. Walking up the sweeping curves of the grand driveway I spy a Aston Martin Volante, go to look though the windscreen and the tax is 7 months out of date.

Wow. How about putting a match stick up against a fire and see if it would ignite. I now realise that a million frigging posts on Parker ribs is exciting.
