I don't think the "big man" will be charged as it is not really in the public interest, however the ticket collector might be in a bit of bother..........

He said he tried to explain to the inspector that he had a valid ticket, yeah you could hear him trying by telling the Inspector to 'f**K off'.
Scotrail have a zero tolerance policy on verbal and physical abuse of staff. The only person that should be charged here is the wee nyaff for fare dodging.

Best thing for him that, just a shame the train was stationary.

I'm with you Mr. Fibble. Personally, I wouldn't have given him the courtesy of waiting to eject him at a station...

And of course the JP/Sherrif/Jury can still find him not guilty depending on the court.

Double standards?? Maybe if the fare dodger had been "foreign" then Big guy would be now hailed as a hero by the establishment & not just us plebs.

He ain't in court yet, can't see this one proceeding as I doubt the procurator will decide its in the public interest and unlikely to secure a conviction.
However the tosser that go thrown off has also been reported to the procurator and awaiting a decision for charging. He may actually have the whole thing backfire on him after all..........
