Fat boy runs Great North Run 1/2 marathon...
I can hear many a ribster chuckling at the thought of me bouncing round the Great North Run.
Well I'm running for "Action Medical Research for Children" in September and if any of you could spare a pound or two I and the Children would be very grateful.
Giving page is Mazars North West | Action Medical Research

You should have no problem completing the course if you are up to that kind of milage but if you can, try and get 15 miles in before the event, because those 2 extra miles will make all the difference believe me
Make sure that you run it and no walking, that way you can always say to people that you have ran 1/2 marathon with your head held up high.
Good luck on the day

Cheers guys, bit late to do a 15 miler, its only a week or so away now. I have run one before, 3.5 yrs ago before my eldest was born.
i'm doing it for a Children's cancer research charity. - hence my signature.
it has helped me lose 2 stone again too.

Well bugger me I don't half bring good weather. Driving rain and gales made it one hard run. Did it though and raised over £350. Thanks to those who chipped in. I'm knackered now.
