Correction: Sir Alf Ramsey's England team beat Sweden in 1968, and Sven's men are favourites to repeat the event tonight. Which all means of course that Sweden will meet Germany in the second phase, followed shortly afterwards by the next flight out to Stockholm. Catch ya in 2010

Nah - your average england goes on about 1966 (when they won the world cup) like it was just yesterday.

That's very true,
it must be the managers fault,
where's he from?

It`s always the trainers or referees fault
To be honest i think Sweden is a hard team to meet, they are playing very organized as a team, even the big stars playing as a team when they playing for the national, its our way of playing in all team sports.
They maybe not win very often but they not loosing very often either.
Bad or good, i dont know

So, on that basis, Sweden should have beaten Trinidad and Tobago, (pop. 1 mil,) 9-0?
