I'm certainly no expert but the Hydroptere looks a bit 'twitchy' for ocean sailing. And isn't Eric Tabarlay dead? I seem to recall seeing a memorial to him on Chausey.

Yes it was out under full sail on Saturday as we headed West towards Yarmouth
