Free.....

..to good home.

Does anyone know anyone or anyone know anyone, who knows someone... who..

Would like, free, gratis, buckshee... a Very large Volvo Penta Diesel Engine?

Model, If I remember correctly, is a 100B which is a normally aspirated, 6 cylinder 9.6 litre lump. It's '70s vintage with not a lot of use. Was used to power a Genny set during the oil crisis.... it would suit someone building/re powering a trawler or trawler yacht on the cheap. If it doesn't go in next 48 hours, it's off to the scrappy and that, my friends, would be a crying shame... Only proviso is you come and pick it up from here..

If only I had the room!!! Think I will be comitted if I dare get soemthing like that again!!!

Please don't trash it though - stick it on ebay - no reserve or anything else - you may even make a few quid but it's an ideal way to get rid of junk - it is suprising how many things you see being bought and sold on ebay that just "do the rounds"so to speak!!!

Interesting bit of kit... is it a runner, and is it still attached to the generator? If so, then a friend is definitely interested...
