Which bit is upsetting you most?
- the redevelopment idea
- the comparison to Necker Island (eh, its in the Caribeen where its warm!)
- the fact the concept really only seems to have one image OR
- the fact you got sucked into reading an article on the Mail site again?

I think this quote sums it up, "Mr Cooper came up with the idea after a drink in the pub"

After really wanting to see them as they were during Round Britain but unfortunately it didn't happen I would have liked to have seen them restored as a tourist attraction rather than an off limits rich persons resort.

They are still high up on my to do list though

Better than just being left to corrode away until they either get dismantled or fall into the sea.

If the DM were to show a moderate SNP bias (left of somewhere, who knows ). Would you then be so dismissive of their journalistic efforts?

+1

The forts in the Solent would just be a crumbling mess with a topping of seagull poo without the money and forward thinking of investors

My dislike of the Daily Mail has nothing to do with politics (which is just as well as thats a forbidden topic!), and everything to do with their poor headline grabbing, click-bait, and attention-whore tactics.

I think Dan and Dan summed it up quite nicely:

I'm not sure which I dislike more - the people who make the paper or the people who read it and then regurgitate its content without critical thought as though it is fact!

Shhh, don't tell Mollers, the only way we get him to behave is by telling him Santa's watching...

Mrs willk is an avid fan of the dailymaildotcom. That said, her favourite television arrangement is the X Factor and I'm her favourite RIBnet moderator after Poly (who she thought was very nice).

I'm not sure that you want to be in her gang!

Or River Lane at Petersham, easy launch & relatively easy parking by London standards
