I recently finished "The Undercover Economist":

Its a good read for all those that want to know a bit more about why things happen in the world, and how economics influences just about everything. Its also quite fun and uses some good examples to make its points.
It also makes you think about what most people complain about regularly, to the point where you realise there are more important things to concentrate on!
