I know what it's like Dan,Julie is a nurse and has been on duty most of Xmas, she's off today and on a late tomorrow. I can remember all the times when I have been on my own on New Years Eve,and many times on Xmas day. Went for a spin on Tuesday weather was great not much tide running and very little wind.Spent today getting the Antifouling off the hull, what a great job that is.Going to get the electric polisher out tomorrow and give it a good shine. That should give me a couple more MPH with a bit off luck.

Happy New Year to all especially the great peeps we've met boating.

Hope you all had a great night out / in last night and didn't blow anyone up with the fireworks. Iceland was lit up apparently by Bogib

Wishing Scottish Members (Hi J & SW) a good 'first footing' .

Here's to more great spins in 2005.

Any wacky resolutions?

I wish you all many happy and safe hours of Ribbing in 2005.

Resolutions? Hmm....spend less time on Rib.net whilst at work?

Ta, and yes it was.... we met, by pure coincidence, one of the guys responsible for the development and build of the RNLI Thames boats which use the Styre motors. Got a good bit of info and lowdown on them. Not wanting to rekindle the famous thread, my lips are sealed.

Happy New Year from me too!

I've been away working for a few days, so it's catch up time now. Cyprus was great -- sunny and 19 degrees (although the locals seemed to think this was cold and were wearing coats and woolly hats!)
