Heeeeeelp!!!

I've been trying to download pics to RIBnet and I keep getting the old "keep your file sizes small than 550X550" or words to that effect.

My camara's lowest res is 480X640, so how do I get it smaller than that?

What am I doing WRONG!!! I've taken my boat cover off twice to photograph it in different resolutions and it's driving me round the bend.......

Someone help. PLEASE

Andy

us a photo editing software package. THERES ONE BUILT INTO XP.( MS photo editor)

you just use resize from the IMAGE prop down menu

its basic but it will get you started - theres loads of others that can do loads such as batch resizing, makes tea and gives you a cream cake also (whew close one)

BJ......Exellent L.O.T.G.L.M.A.O.

Tried your link John and didn't work! Thanks anyway.

The thingy on the XP mr&missus Jackeen, I tried earlier and it cut most of my pic away.....

However I did remember this photo thing I had on disk and I've downloaded it and guess what it worked.

Is a little fiddly though as each pic need to be opened, changed and then resaved. Just a little time consuming, but it's a start.

Keep an eye on RIB gallery to see if it works.

I wonder did you crop the pic which would cut the pic. Resize will just reduce the size and keep the origional layout i.e. 4:3 or whatever. you can distort but can look different- just like your rib

Paul, will it stretch, thin down the profile, increase seating and console capacity, make the outboard grow (250hp) and generally turn my Koi into a killer whale of a RIB? Oh and fill the chips in the hull.

If it does I WANT IT!!!! Yes Yes Yes.......

Just deaming I suppose.

John, thanks for the new link, am downloading now.

I just import the photo into CorelDraw and then export it again. When you do so it gives you the option of the size of the photo. I just set the width to 500 and tick the 'maintain ratio' box. Easy...when you know how.
