Hugh Jardon having a dig at Codders again

< Edit: Split from another thread. JK >

codders

not having a go but why in your profile have you left the make of your boat blank, are you embarrased or have you just forgotten?

Anyway - "it was washed away in the accident your honour"!!!

I wonder how many people in little dinghys or other small craft bother or are even aware of this new law(2002).

I carry far more gear than I need to - my choice - if someone is stupid enough to set out without the proper gear that is their choice. In these days of the "nanny state" it is nice to have a few choices left!!!

It's not as if it's the first time. Why do you find it necessary to persist with this? Do you think it makes you look clever?

No, the question was asked quite innocently. ....forgotten as in forgotten to complete that field

perhaps i should have searched for the thread where someone suggested that cods update his profile and he replied with the fact that he had.....and ask there

Sorry Cods....

I think it was a fair enough question, why not include the manufacturer of your boat?
I originally suggested he updated his profile because new members or people viewing from outside, will think 4000+ posts and he hasn't even got a boat! Nothing against him

For ONCE John I think it's a fair question - I was waiting for someone to pick up on it!!!

The reason I have put the makers name as BLANK is because the builder of my boat chose not to put a name on it!!!

Wether that is because he couldn't be bothered - or he had sold the company or whatever I just don't know!!! Maybe it is in the same place as some other missing bits???

I agree i thought it was a fair question as well

it might be best to associate the boat with a maker for when you want to sell it?

So JK
thanks for picking out my question and starting a new thread trying to ridicule me and trying to call me a smart arse, feel free to apologise in your own good time!

where is my old mate who used to post on here when you need him!!

Last time I looked Alice my old rumplefish, Arundel was on the South Coast. Has there been a significant shift in the earth's crust recently?

And,

HUGH, how many times do I have to tell you!

DON'T BE A SMARTARSE!

No, just the lure of the pasty crust.

If it was a one-off then it would have passed by unnoticed. Given your history of abusive behaviour towards Codprawn, I see it as a continuing pattern of behaviour.

Following previous incidents I now have a "zero toerance" policy of any post by you that might be conceived as "Cod baiting". I have made my views clear, and ask that you respect them.

Thank you.

John

john kennett

I would just like to put my pennies worth in here.I have recently given up writing anything on this website, even though i do still click on stuff and read peoples posts.
The reasons i have started to dislike this site is that in my opinion there is just too much of a 'click' on here and far too many knob-eads with to much to say.Hugh Jordan Jono & Mullholland and jono garton in my opinion are just like a couple of little kids. They are just waiting for someone to post something wrong or even a simple question which to a newcomer may be a legitimate thing but they all seem to be just waiting to pounce.

I guess they where all probably bullied and picked on at school and now they are older (i would guess) their wives or girlfriends have them wrapped around their little fingers. They cannot move and their only output is to sit behind a little screen and have a go at anyone who dares post anything they dont like.
They have a go at codders constantly for having an opinion on everything but they themselves just cant keep it shut.
The straw that broke the camels back for me was the recent huge posting against Leeway composites. Most of the people who wrote stuff on that posting
a)do not own a Leeway
b) have not ever been on a leeway
3)do not know anything about what they where commenting on
4)where just joining the mentality of 'everybody else is having a go so why dont i ?

At first i thought that the reason John Kennett never said anything was because these people where bronze or trade members and he did not want to alienate people who where paying to use the services of his site. But hey i am glad to see that he has decided to start acting upon these tactics irrespective of the type of member you are.
I hope this site goes from strenghth to strength but unfortuntely i for one will not be posting here very often.
