Don't know about a RC nutter, but the kids and I built a Tamiya Gravel Hound over Christmas, they sprayed the shell and I got them to build as many of the assemblies as they could. Putting the tyres on the wheels was nearly beond me .

Any way Video (not mine) here:

And pic here:

I had a car like that 20 years ago and I also had an Alsatian. Trouble is I spent ages building and spraying the car and the bl__dy dog spent seconds chasing and eating my car. I thought the car was fast, the b__+_dy dog was much faster.

Well I've run over one dog and my Son knocked over a teenager the other day. No teeth marks yet !

I'm gonna start marking my results on the side of the car AKA: Bomber/Fighter pilot style.

Bought with my xmas/birthday money.

http://www.hobbyzone.com/rc_planes_h..._super_cub.htm

Total damage sustained so far:
1x propellor
1x spinner
ripped the undercarriage off when landing too fast
Managed to fly into a tree and although the fuselage made it through the wing didn't. New wing and a few more spare props on order.

Great fun though.

I hace a cen ff2 buggy. Great car 40+mph with tuning. I you have any questions or want any advice about these cars as i have rebuilt the engine on mine about 4 times. And done major repair work on the car. One thing make you you clean it out after a run in wet grass and pudddles as most of the components are not rust proof. And make sure you warm the engine up properly and don't use very high % nitro fuel.

I also have a model p-51 mustang picture of simlar model below.

I once built a deep V, 36" long power boat. It had a 15cc Merco water cooled glow engine, fitted with twin tanks and was started using a pulley belt, flywheel at one end and 12v electric starter at the other. It was quick, so much so that I ended up putting a load of molten lead in the hull to stop it taking off. If I remember it had an X racing prop with a diameter of about 1.5 inchs. The only place to run it was in Cams Bay, Portsmouth harbour. Right opposite Fleetlands.

If I can find a pic of it I'll scan it and post it.

This is the only picture I can find of mine.

These two are 1/8 size, both supposedly do 60mph, with 0-60 in about 4-5 seconds. I haven't measured the speed, but they are bl**dy fast!

One of them has a F1 type shell, and the other a Subaru Imprezza.

I have another smaller one (1/10) I think, but just wasnt fast enough, but it did look good.

I really need to get my cars stripped/cleaned/rebuilt... but im lazy, so going to be looking for someone else to do it. Theres a shop in Southampton City Center, hobbystores, who say they will do it for a reasonable price, so will probably try there.

half the fun........

.............stripping them and rebuilding them yourself. I'm new to the sport but already I've stripped my engine, starter and gearbox servos without too much trouble - you've just got to be brave and remember were all the bits go afterwards. There are sseveral good forum like ours here (not as good of course - and I mean that ) were there are plenty of tecnos to lend advice - I've found lots of them equally as freindlty as us lot on here - infact I'm attendin my first RC Cruise, I mean RC Meet (Ridio Control Meeting) this sunday.......note to self - "musn't forget anorack"
