I have a Corsair ultra survivor USB stick and it's just been through te washing machine in the pocket of my jeans. It'supposed to be tough and waterproof and it was wrked fine just a bit cleaner

I read some where that if you spill something on your Keyboard then you can put it in the Dish Washer.

Is that what you had to do Stu? After GarFs hurtfull comments on another thread. I'm positive you were crying and spilt your tot of Rum?

Rum, spilt!? my condolences... My mother in law got me some straight run 94% ABV from the Wray and Nephew distillery, it did quite literally take the skin off the inside of your mouth - lovely taste.

Now onto 3rd super tough land rover phone, none of the failures due in any way to use. Cannot reccomend them as phone I'm afraid

I have a sandisk ultra, not tough nor waterproof, 4gb stick which had a similar experience last week. It too works fine, so thats more impressive then!

That's good news

without a doubt and a lot cheaper! but my stick is 32 gb and thats even more impresseive than your 4 GB cos I had more gigabytes to get jostled out of position in the spin cycle. gArfpig reckons the FAT could have neen damaged but I think he was having a pop at mu Obesity..he's a very nasty man

I'm glad it survived as it brings me a lot of joy when I'm away from home , relax It's got my CD collection on it and all my comdy MP'3'S

Absolutely. If the wash water turned blue, you might want to check the integrity of your stash.

Thats why I always reccommend NTFS as opposed to FAT32 tablets .. lower temprature and kinder to hands
