Ipad application

I am after an application to use on my iPad when instructing level 2's, I want an application that I can quickly draw wind/tide, marks, boats, buoys and show movements.

So the drawings we all do on a white boards, scraps of paper and wet sponsons - but it would be easier on the water with the iPad.

Anyone seen anything like that?

I've got an app on my iPad called Draw. It's basically just a Microsoft Paint type thing, it's pretty good at drawing out diagrams etc.

Was hoping there would already be one out there with Visio style icons that I could just drop into place as my drawing style isn't the best.

I use Quickoffice which has a PowerPoint/presentation capability. With initial setting up of commonly used shapes and images etc. beforehand it may be able to do what you want.

A quick look on Google found loads of possibilities like these http://ipad.appstorm.net/roundups/gr...for-your-ipad/

I reckon that Paper by FiftyThree could work well for you as you can import PDFs and then annotate them. This means you could create basic templates for the various scenarios using Word or whatever, then "draw" in them during the training sessions. Much better than starting from scratch each time.
